Sarah; Portraits

Her music filled the alley, causing parking attendants and walkers-by to stop and stare. She closed her eyes and furrowed her brow, not with concentration but with emotion. It doesn't just come from her instrument, no. Her music comes from her soul. She plays as though it comes directly from her heart. She plays with passion. A passion that has brought her to this place in her life, 23 years after she first picked up the violin. Watching her was like watching some one worship. They say some musicians are made and some are born. This beautiful woman and my dear cousin was created for this purpose. To fill this world with music. And what an honor to receive a private concert as well as the chance to capture someone so inspiring.

omyword, she is beautiful beyond description! You captured her essence beautifully! They are all stunning, but my favorite is her walking in front of the brick wall, holding her violin case. And the close-up that was on your other blog! And the dress in the field...Love it!

I agree with Band of Brothers...love the one with her walking. It totally says "violins are sexy!". Awesome job!

I'm all teary-eyed; what can I say? I'm her Mom!!!! I think that says it all. Lorie...your words were beautiful and the photography is stunning. I also love the walking photo....but I adore the gorgeous blue eyes and the long black dress in the field.
Hugs to you, dear one!
